In the chaos of preparing to move to another state, it’s nice to cut the engines once in a while and realize that life isn’t just negotiating purchase agreements, packing boxes, and saying goodbyes. Songs like these help me slow down and pay attention to the beauty of every moment.

Our beautiful little girl turned 1 on August 31st! We hosted her birthday party a few days later… she did one of the best cake face-plants I’ve ever seen!
